Randall County Republican Party Chairman Kelly Giles will have two opponents on the ballot next year, according to filings with the Texas Secretary of State.

Pat Bohlender and Brien Maxwell both filed for the ballot to challenge Giles in next year’s primary election. The three candidates are running to be the elected leader of the Randall County Republican Party. The winner of the election will serve a full term, following Giles’ appointment by executive committee members earlier this year to finish out the unexpired term of former Chairman Tim Revell.

The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
