Amarillo City Council will host a third orientation workshop on Tuesday, June 20th.
The special meeting, which is set to take place at 9:00 am in Room AB of the Downtown Public Library, will feature overviews of various city departments, including animal management and welfare, parks and recreation, and the city’s public libraries. The meeting will conclude with a tour of the downtown library.
According to the agenda for the meeting, “no votes will be taken or decisions made.”
The first orientation workshop took place at Amarillo City Hall, while the second took place at the Office of Emergency Management.
Aside from a notice of possible quorum published for the June 24th McDonald Lake cleanup event, the orientation workshop is expected to be the final meeting of the current council before the June 24th runoff election.
