If you’re interested in being appointed to a city board, you have less than a week to get your application in.
The City of Amarillo opened applications last month, with the last day to apply being October 15th. Applicants can choose from up to three of the more than 30 boards with applications open.
Amarillo City Council will make appointments to the various boards during a future City Council meeting, likely at some point in November. Most terms for board appointments will begin on January 1st, 2025, though those appointed to fill vacancies will automatically begin their terms.
