Caroline Fairly, Timothy Gassaway, and Jeffrey McGunegle are seeking to replace retiring incumbent Four Price (R-Amarillo) in the Texas House District 87 race.

Caroline Fairly is the Republican Party nominee, having defeated challengers Cindi Bulla, Richard Beyea, and Jesse Quackenbush for the nomination. Fairly is a medical claims negotiator.

Timothy Gassaway, the Democratic Party nominee, is a real estate professional who ran unopposed for his party’s nomination.

Jeffrey McGunegle won’t appear on the ballot, but he is a certified write-in candidate. McGunegle is a life/consciousness coach who earned last place in the 2023 Amarillo mayoral election.
