Jeremy Bryant, owner of Grasshopper's Bounce and Party House, is running for Mayor of Amarillo.
Bryant announced his candidacy through Facebook, promising to bring unity to the City Council. Bryant also said that he wants to cut the red tape at City Hall and find an experienced, talented City Manager for Amarillo.
"I am pro-growth." Bryant said. "We need to get our business together or we're in big trouble."
Bryant has also pledged to run a clean campaign, and has requested that other candidates do the same.
Bryant joins attorney Ginger Nelson as a candidate for Mayor. Incumbent Paul Harpole has not stated whether he will seek re-election.
