City Manager Cleans Up Trash

City manager Jared Miller and a few City of Amarillo employees cleaned up trash this week in Amarillo.

According to information from the City of Amarillo, a few city employees including city manager Jared Miller, city engineer Kyle Schniederjan and public communications director Mary Bagwell, cleaned trash up at a spot in Amarillo. Several bulky items, including couches, mattresses and other pieces of furniture were loaded onto a trailer and hauled away from the site.

In cleaning up the trash, city officials also are attempting to remind residents to take part in the new municipal trash program. If you have any bulk trash items, you are asked to place them on your curb and schedule pickup by calling 806-378-6813.
