Amarillo City Council Changes Meeting Time for Tuesday

The Amarillo City Council has changed its meeting time for its upcoming meeting on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, May 8th, the Amarillo City Council will meet at 3pm at City Hall. According to a calendar of events, the Council has a planned gathering at the Globe News Center for the Performing Arts at 5:30pm that evening, which would conflict with the regular 5pm meeting time.

During the meeting, Councilmembers will consider approving a depository contract with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and will consider allowing a veriance request for a store to sell liquor within 300 feet of an Amarillo private school. If approved, the liquor sales will be located at 5805 South Georgia Street.

The City Council will meet on May 8th at 3pm at Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue).
