Wichita Falls resident Kevin McInturff has launched a bid to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon).
It was reported by KFDX-TV that McInturff is running to replace Thornberry in the 2020 Republican primary race. McInturff is a graduate of Howard Payne University and Midwestern State University and has made a career working for non-profit organizations such as Youth for Christ of Greater Houston, Outreach International, the National Alliance for Mental Illness, and Faith Mission, according to his campaign website.
McInturff joins Vance Snider, Monique Worthy, and Josh Winegarner in the Republican primary. Democrat Greg Sagan is running unopposed in his primary.
Candidates will begin filing for spots on the ballot next month.
