Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is appearing in new social media ads for Republican congressional candidate Ronny Jackson.
In the new ads, which hit Facebook this week, Huckabee asks voters in the 13th Congressional District to back Jackson to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry. Huckabee’s appearance in the social media spot is the latest case of a prominent conservative politician endorsing Jackson as he campaigns in District 13.
Huckabee, in addition to his service as governor of Arkansas, has served as a conservative talk show host and media contributor for a number of networks and platforms. Huckabee also sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008 and 2016.
Jackson is set to face Democrat Gus Trujillo and Libertarian Jack B. Westbrook in the November 3 general election.
