55 COVID-19 Cases Now Reported in Amarillo Area

Fifty-five cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Amarillo area, with 42 cases coming from Potter and Randall Counties, health officials are reporting.

According to the City of Amarillo’s COVID-19 report card, 21 cases have been announced in both Potter and Randall Counties, with 13 cases also being reported outside the jurisdiction of the Amarillo Public Health Department. Two individuals have recovered from the virus in Randall County, while no recoveries have been reported at this time out of Potter County. Information on recoveries outside of the APH area is not available on the COVID-19 report card.

In total, 700 tests have been conducted for COVID-19, with 190 still pending.
