Golden Chick has opened its newest location in Amarillo.

According to a press release from the fried chicken chain, Golden Chick’s newest location at 34th and Georgia is now open. The location will be operated by Emilio Chavez, who already owns several other locations of the franchise.

“2023 was a landmark year for our brand, and we are excited to continue this momentum into 2024,” said Mark Parmerlee, CEO of Golden Chick, said in a statement. “Despite construction delays and supply chain issues, our brand has made history over the past five years in terms of expansion. We are extremely grateful to Emilio and his team for helping us realize this dream.”

Golden Chick now has over 225 locations across the United States, including in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida and Mississippi.
