Amarillo Fire Department Chief Jeff Greenlee is set to retire from his role after over two decades of service.
According to AFD, Greenlee will retire from the role of fire chief in April after serving in Amarillo since 2012. Greenlee has logged 27 years of service and has a long history with the Amarillo Fire Department, being named valedictorian of the Amarillo Fire Academy Class in 1993.
A new fire chief will be appointed in the coming months, according to reports.
